The World Bank’s Global Water Practice Director, Mr. Saroj Kumar Jha has paid a field visit to beneficiaries of the GAMA Sanitation and Water Project in the La Nkwantanan Madina, Ga East Municipal and Ga West Municipal Assemblies.

Mr. Kumar Jha interacted with household toilet beneficiaries in Madina, Social Welfare, pupils, and teachers of the Kwabenya Atomic M/A 5 JHS in the Ga East Municipal and Opa JHS within the Ga West Municipal Assembly.
He encouraged the students and management of the Opa JHS to ensure continuous maintenance of the toilet facilities and applauded the Project Coordinator, Ing. George Asiedu for the good work done.
Mr. Kumar Jah was accompanied by other members of the Global Water Practice Team, including Anna Cestari – Practice Manager, Water Global Practice, Africa West and Central, Yitbarek Tessema – Co-Task Team Leader, and Bogachan Benli – Snr. Irrigation and Drainage Specialist, and Harold Esseku – Snr WASH Specialist.
